Dear Parents,
We want to address something that is currently circulating on social media.
On August 20th the FBI in Little Rock issued a general awareness statement to law enforcement agencies about information they received regarding a threat of a possible school shooting in Kentucky on August 28 and in Arkansas on August 29. The FBI could NOT verify the source of the threat.
White County Central is NOT aware of any specific threat to our district.
We assure you that we take your child’s safety seriously. District personnel will continue communicating with state agencies and law enforcement over the next week. We will take all steps necessary to protect your child.

Girls K-4 Bear Cub Practice today and tomorrow. Please pick your child up at the front of the main gym by 5:15.

WCC 2020 Class! Seniors are listening to the Jostens man. They look so serious!!
It’s getting real for these juniors. The Jostens man is here this morning to talk to them about class rings. He will return on Thursday, Aug. 29 at 8am to pick up orders. Class of 2021!!!
PTO meeting!!!! The meeting is : Monday August 26th at 8:15 and 6:00 in the elementary cafeteria. Refreshments will be served and door prizes will be given away!!!!

The White County Central Sr. BETA Club will host the annual fall Blood Drive on Friday, August 30th from 8:30am - 2:30 pm in the auditorium. Participants must be 16 years old and weigh 125 lbs.
