Important Schedule pick up dates for grades 7-12
WCC is excited to announce Sam Farris as the middle school principal (grades 5-8) and athletic director. Mr. Farris’ office is in the middle school building (formerly known as the JH building). Mr. Farris has been in education for 11 years (10 years here at WCC) and is starting his first year as an administrator. Mr. Farris is married to Amanda and has four wonderful children: Riley, Jack, Nathan and Lane.
WCC would like to welcome our new band director, Mrs. Mackenzie Viviano. Mrs. Viviano taught for two years in Missouri before pushing her Master of Music from UCA. Mrs. Viviano plays the flute and her husband, Dominick, plays the trombone. She is very excited to part of the WCC family and can’t wait to make music with students and also start a jazz band!!!
Coach Brandy Altom said there will be no softball practice till July 22. So

WCC is looking for sub bus drivers! Below is the requirements to become one. There is a mandatory 3 hour training that will be offered at WCC on Thursday, July 18, from 2pm to 5pm in the auditorium.
*Commercial driver's license (CDL) - P and S endorsement
*Clean driving record
*background check
*physical, hearing and vision requirement
*pass drug test
*mandatory 3 hour annual bus training
*Central registry check
*24 hour bus training

The 3 hour mandatory annual bus training will be Thursday, July 18 in the WCC auditorium.
From Coach Koerdt: All 7th grade boys interested in playing basketball next year, we will start summer practice July 9th. Practices will be every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 - 5:30.
WCC would like to welcome Coach Cude, Mrs. Alexi Cude and their daughters to WCC. Coach Cude will be coaching the HS and JH girls' basketball teams and Mrs. Cude will be teaching HS History. This is Coach Cude's 18th year in education and Mrs. Cude's 3rd year. Kyra will be entering 9th grade, Calyn is entering 7th grade and Carigan is entering 3rd grade. We are excited to have them join our family!!

4-6 grade girls practice on June 18th has been cancelled.
WCC seniors! Senior pictures are this Wednesday in the Commons! Sitting fee is $20. If you don’t know your time, email mdickerson@wccsd.k12.ar.us. Be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes early.
