An elf welcomed WCC Elementary students to school this morning. Lots of giggles ensued along with lots of curious questions about how she got on the roof and where the snow was coming from!
Elementary Parents, lost and found items will be spread out in the small cafeteria this afternoon. If you attend your child's Christmas party, please take a moment to walk through and see if anything belongs to your child. Items will be spread out throughout the hallways the rest of the week. Feel free to come look. Items not claimed by the end of the day Friday will either be added to our clothing closet or donated. Thank you!
Parents, if your child receives a Friday food bag, please remember that you may pick it up any day this week. They will not be sent on buses or with car riders. If you already picked up, thank you!

We are thrilled to announce that our Varsity League of Legends team earned 2nd place in STATE competing against schools from all divisions! This team has put in hours of hard work, dedication and worked to improve their teamwork. A huge shoutout to our players: Chandler Malnar, Alex Benavides, Kaleb Gatewood, Jeshua Travis, Luke Jones, and Josie Scoggins! We're incredibly proud of how far this team has come!

Parents, if your child receives a weekly food bag, Christmas Break Bags will be in the elementary office tomorrow. They will NOT be sent home on the bus or with car riders. You may pick up your child's bag tomorrow, Dec. 13, between 10:30 and 2:30. If you are unable to pick it up tomorrow, you may pick up any day next week between 8:30-2:30.

Congratulations to WCC Elementary for being named a National ESEA Distinguished School!
Congratulations to Jacob Watkins for going undefeated in the Grand Prix Chess Tournament on Saturday. Our Chess program hosted multiple other schools for the chess tournament. Jacob was one of two students who went undefeated throughout the day. We had multiple Chess team members compete and it was a fantastic day.
WCC Elementary will be celebrating good behavior on December 17th with games, competitions, some goodies, and special guests!
Our Varsity League of Legends team is playing in the STATE FINALS match Monday December 9th at Wynne High School. Tickets can be purchased at Fall eSports Championship https://gofan.co/event/2502522. The game will also be streamed live, and we will share that link as soon as we have it.
We are incredibly proud of this team, they have put in countless hours to learn an ever changing game and become a team that communicates well and pushes each other to be better. Esports competes with ALL divisions of schools, they beat Morrilton High School in the semifinals and take on Bryant High School in the finals at 1:00 pm tomorrow!
