As a reminder, we are dismissing school on Tuesday, May 9th at 12:30. We will start dismissing Elementary car riders at 12:05 and bus riders will follow.

The 6th grade fishing derby that was scheduled for Tuesday, May 9th has been changed to Wednesday, May 10th. We apologize for the inconvenience.
WCC Parents and Guardians...3rd-6th grade students will be taking the ACT Aspire test tomorrow, Wed., and Thurs. mornings. Some things that make testing better for the students include a good nights sleep, eating breakfast, and getting to school on time. Students tend to test better when they test with their peers, instead of making it up at a later time. Please have them at school no later than 7:55. Thank you for your help in making testing go as smoothly as possible!
Today's cheer tryout, Monday, May 1, will be postponed until next Monday. We will still be available tomorrow for anyone ready to tryout at that time. Please let Coach Fisher know if you will come tomorrow (Tuesday), or next Monday (5/8). Thank you!

WCC Students- take the ACT more than once! The higher your ACT score, the more opportunities you can have for college scholarships and financial aid. The deadline to register for the June 10 test is May 5. If you need help registering or to find out if you can receive a free ACT voucher, come see Mrs. Hill.

WCC 7th-10th grades will be ACT Aspire testing on Tuesday, April 25th and Wednesday, April 26th. Some will also be testing on Thursday and Friday. Students - please bring your charged chrome books and chargers to school with you each day. Eat a good breakfast at home or at school and get a good night's sleep!
The baseball game for today, Friday, April 21, has been cancelled.
Story Bears held their last meeting of the year on Friday, April 21. Prizes for Battle of the Books were given. Each child will also receive a gift certificate to next year's Book Fair!


Due to the expected rain on Friday, April 21, the FFA fishing derby for 6th grade, has been moved to Tuesday, May 9th.
WCC has added 2 new sports

Kona Ice will be at the high school from 11am to about 11:40 am tomorrow, Friday, April 14th. 9th - 12th graders will be allowed to buy some Kona Ice! The community is allowed to come on by and help support the HS PTO.by buying some also.
Just a reminder.....Kona Ice will be at school tomorrow for grades K-8.
