Due to weather Tuesday nights game has been rescheduled to January 24th.
Due to inclement weather the White County Central School District will be closed Tuesday, January 16. Stay warm!
As a reminder we are out tomorrow for Martin Luther King Jr Day. Everyone stay safe and warm!
We have had a great first week back! Please make sure we have the most current contact information on file for your child so you are sure to receive any communication from White County Central School District.
With winter weather in the forecast, we also want to remind you how we broadcast information regarding school closings. In the event we have to close school or run snow routes, families will be notified by text message and voice call. Closures will also be posted on our school Facebook page.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this information, please contact your child’s principal.
There were not AMI waivers (Alternate Methods of instruction) granted by the State this year. Due to this change, any inclement weather days will be have to be made up.
Due to the inclement weather forecast for Monday, the scheduled shooting sports meeting has been postponed to Thursday January 18th at 6:30.
We are being contacted about donations. We have limited room for storage so these are the items we most frequently use: Size 5-8 pants for boys and girls. Shoe sizes little kid size 13 to big kid size 4. Jackets/coats 5-10. Please do not send pajamas, costumes, dressy clothes, or swim wear.
Colder weather is steadily approaching- PLEASE dress your child warmly with a coat and make sure their name is written on the inside. Also, it never hurts for your child to keep an extra set of clothing in their backpack, cubby or locker. The clothing closet is not equipped with very many sizes and warm clothing. Having an extra outfit at school may prevent you from being called at work etc. Also, please make sure the office has updated phone numbers.

Parents, if your child brings home a food bag, don't forget to pick them up today. If other arrangements need to be made, call the elementary office. Thank you!
Due to the fact that next week's schedule is so different, the Christmas Break food bags will be sent home this Friday, Dec. 15. The bags will be larger than they were at Thanksgiving, so again we are asking that parents pick them up. They may be picked up between 9:30 and 2:00 this Friday. If you need to pick up at an alternate time please contact me. This will be the last bag until we return from Christmas Break.
