Bear Nation - Our hotspots arrived this week (a couple weeks late), and we were assured by Verizon that they would have the capacity to filter content. However, after receiving them, they do not have that capability. We apologize for this setback, but feel that we need to return them. Due to this, there will be some of you that will not have internet in your household before the school year is over. We still encourage you to use our outside access point in our parking lot if at all possible. Our teachers will continue to attempt to meet the needs of all students regardless of internet access or not. We pray that the situation will improve and we can begin next year back on campus. Please don't stress over your child's education. Work with them to the best of your ability. Stay safe!

Attention Seniors!!!! WCC has partnered with WCCHS PTO to buy each senior a WCC Senior Yard Sign. The signs will be displayed in front of the high school on Thursday, April 30, from 10am to 3pm and on Monday, May 4th, from 10am to 3pm. (You are welcome to take a picture with them but please do not remove them from school property.) WCCHS staff will deliver the signs to the seniors on Wednesday, 5/6/2020 and would like the senior to take a picture (in their cap and gown if they would like to) when it is delivered. Deliveries will start around 10am. If the student is not at home the yard sign will be put in the front yard. WCC Senior Teacher Parade - Thursday, May 7 - starting at 1pm (Dr. Underwood will call each senior by Monday, May 4th to see who will be home on Thursday, May 7) The WCCHS staff will be driving by each senior’s house (if the senior lives out of the school district that senior will have to go to a senior’s house in the school district for this.) in a caravan so that we can HOOT and HOLLER when we drive by because we love our seniors and we will miss them!!!

Parents, We hope that you and your families are doing well. We wanted to give you an update regarding the hotspots. Although promised to be in last week, we are still awaiting their arrival. We will get them programmed as soon as we get them and then set up a schedule for you to come pick them up. We also are getting an outside access point to allow you to sit in the upper end of the parking lot between the middle school and the auditorium to access the internet so your children can do their work. We will let you know when that is available. Please don't worry right now if you don't have access. Your child's teacher will be contacting you to ensure that they can still work with you even without internet service right now.
