Tomorrow ALL Juniors will be taking the ACT for their end of the year assessment. Please make sure your student is here tomorrow if at all possible. All Juniors need to be on time because they can not enter late! Make sure they get a good nights rest, eat a good breakfast, and encourage them to do their best!
Our 11th graders had ACT Bootcamp today. Let’s get them ready to take that test!!! Real ACT for juniors is on Thursday, March 5th.

4th Grade Parents...The 4th grade basketball games, scheduled for Thursday night at Augusta, have been canceled, due to the Sr. Boys being in the state tournament in Quitman.

The District is aware of the risk of COVID-19 (Corona Virus) internationally. The District is working with the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) and the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) to identify students and staff who may have traveled from the affected countries, district staff will collaborate with ADH if any such student or staff are identified.
Unless students and staff are found to be at risk, recommendation by these agencies is that schools do not need to take any special precautions beyond the normal recommendations to prevent the spread of viruses in schools. To reduce the risk for getting and spreading viral respiratory infections, including the flu and the common cold, encourage them to take simple steps to help prevent COVID-19. These include:
1. Staying home when they are fevered.
2. Frequent hand washing with soap and
water, or use of alcohol-based sanitizer.
3. Advising against touching eyes, nose,
and mouth with unwashed hands.
4. Cover one’s mouth when coughing or
sneezing.
5. Urging all to get a flu shot.
