Congrats to WCC eSports Team!

WCC Varsity League of Legends team is the 10th team in the state going into Thanksgiving break. Our next game will be December 1 against Searcy High School.
Our Esports teams compete against all classifications of schools and we are one of only two 2A teams in the top 10 right now. This does not happen without dedicated kids and parents, so thank you for your hard work and dedication to helping us build a competitive program.
We are so proud of all the hours our kids put into learning the game, working with internet struggles, and just always being willing to work as a team! (Announcement from Mr. Matt Jones and Mrs. Shannon Jones)

Due to the continued battle with COVID, our basketball game with Riverview scheduled for Friday night has been canceled.

Due to the coronavirus restrictions on band and choir performances - as well as lost group rehearsal time in the past weeks, we will unfortunately have to cancel the Band/Choir Winter concerts that were scheduled in December.

Picture Reminder! Fall sports (7-12 Basketball and 7-12 Cheer) pictures will be Dec. 1st in the gym. The only way to order is online at mylifetouch.com and use code EVTXP4W3J.

Tickets are now on sale for Friday's game against Riverview!

Again, White County Central will be in session for normal instruction next Thursday and Friday.

As part of a response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) in partnership with the Office of Education Policy (OEP) at the University of Arkansas has developed a Parent/Guardian Survey. This is an opportunity for our families to provide a voice to how things are working and considerations for the future.
You can complete the survey by clicking on this link:

Buses are delivering food at this time and people that signed up to get food need to be at their designated bus stop. If you are quarantined you need to have a visual to leave the food. Food is ready to be to picked up also - if you chose that option.

Band Parents/Students who sold Cheesecakes can come pick them up starting tomorrow Nov. 11th at 2:30PM in the High School Commons. Only one family unit will be allowed into the commons at a time, and we ask that you wear a mask and practice social distancing. If you need to pick up later than 3:30PM or another day email Mr. White and let him know -- zwhite@wccsd.k12.ar.us

Reminder - Please contact the school if any student tests positive for COVID-19 during our virtual closure. We need to keep track of all positive cases for tracing purposes. Thank you! 501-729-3947
