Our new WCC Basketball Coach is Coach Dawson Yates.  He has taught for 3 years in El Dorado where he was the assistant basketball coach, assistant junior high football coach, and the coach for Elementary P.E.  Coach Yates' immediate family is his wife Bethany, his parents, James & Robyn Yates, and his in-laws, James & Denise Engel.  Something unique about Coach Yates is that he was adopted at birth. He believes it has had a huge impact in how he builds relationships and expresses empathy.  From Coach Yates:  It is an honor to join the WCC family and I am beyond excited to support and promote our community. Go Bears!!!

Update on WCC's Re-entry plan for the 2020/2021 school year:   White County Central is in the process of making plans for our reentry back to school procedures that will take place in August.  We are having committee meetings, looking at directives that have been pushed out,  and having conversations on what is best for our students and teachers.  We are following updates from the Governor closely and the Arkansas Department of Education to provide additional guidance for reentry.  We will release more information in July.  Thank you for your patience.  Have a great summer!!
