Today's senior spotlight is Carson Brown. 1. How many years have you gone to school at WCC? Four.  2. What do you like the most about attending WCC? How close everyone is to each other. 3. What is your favorite subject? English.  4. What are your plans once you graduate? My immediate plans are to serve a two year mission for my church. When I get back home, I want to finish my Bachelors Degree in Industrial Psychology. My ultimate goal is to get my master’s degree and become a Physician’s Assistant. 5.  What is the most valuable thing that you have learned while attending WCC? Hard work always pays off. Freshman year I began taking online college courses through Arkansas Tech and every year since then. It was a lot of work and a little bit harder than my regular high school classes, but 3 years later I’m graduating early and have given myself a few years head start for college.  6. Finish this statement about WCC....I will always remember.....How much people care about one another. When I got sick and things weren’t looking so great everyone at WCC cared, and was there for me. Some people I hadn’t even really talked to before were texting, calling, and writing letters telling me how they were praying for me and hoping for a quick recovery. It meant the world to me and gave me a lot of hope and confidence through such a hard time in my life. 7.  What advice do you give to the students still in high school? Do not procrastinate your work. When you get an assignment do it as soon as you can because if you put everything off it will all pile up at once and cause a lot of stress.  8.  How has Covid changed your outlook on life?It has taught me not to take things for granted. So much of our daily lives went out the window when COVID hit and it just hit me how much stuff we were all gonna miss out on. So it has taught me to appreciate the things I have now, big and small, because one day they could be gone just like that.  Congratulations Carson!
